The Last Diet

Posted on October 21, 2018October 21, 2018

Hi… I am so glad you are here.

In 2014, I was thrown some curveballs in life. So I took the steps to start my journey to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.  This blog is my way to share what I have learned.  I hope this journal will help you too.

Starting in Aug 2014, I began the journey to bariatric journey.  But before I got to this point, I began researching how to lose almost 200 pounds.  The research alone became a daunting task.  The part that was always confusing to me… Why would my insurance cover a surgery that will alter my body and not cover a gym membership?  a weight watchers membership or maybe a weight management program.  None of these were covered by insurance, but bariatric surgery was.  This was so confusing to me.
